Giulio Andreotti

Giulio Andreotti, leader of the Christian Democracy Party, served as Prime Minister of Italy for three different terms. Andreotti's second term as Prime Minister coincided during the Ford administration. Andreotti's 40-year career in public office included all of the major offices of state, where he earned the trust of the civil service, business community, and Vatican, and guided Italy's European Union integration.
