Physical DescriptionA large round wooden plaque features a bald eagle with outstretched wings and a patriotic shield on its chest. It holds a bundle of arrows and an olive branch in its talons. Fifty stars encircle it, and a round border, which displays curvy text, encloses the image.

Custodial History NoteThe general public gifted the item to President Gerald R. Ford Ford during his term in office. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in September 1981 for deposit with the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum.
