Physical DescriptionThe top edge of a vertically striped red, white, and blue ribbon is attached to a golden eagle pin, which is attached to five horizontal golden bars that are connected by golden links. A round golden medallion hangs from the bottom; it features a raised image of an elephant on its hind legs, along with a decorative raised border and curved text around the perimeter.
Historical NoteThis is Gerald R. Ford’s badge from the 1968 Republican National Convention in Miami Beach, Florida. At the time, Ford was the House Republican Minority Leader and a permanent chairman of the Republican National Conventions.Additional Details
