Physical DescriptionHand-painted ceramic plaque, in the shape of the Liberty Bell. Bell is yellow with a red boarder. Three stars (red, white and blue) are present at top of bell, with "200" written below. Eagle with wings spread, holding a blue banner reading 1776-1976, along with two green branches, is at center of bell.Additional Details
Custodial History NoteThe general public gifted the item to President Ford and First Lady Betty Ford during the Ford administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in September 1981 for deposit with the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum.
