Physical DescriptionA patriotic butterfly pin has wings, which resemble an American flag. Small white stars accent each blue wing and red and white stripes decorate the other two wings. It is attached to a square white paper, which displays two lines of blue text.

Custodial History NoteThe general public gifted the item to President Ford during his term in office. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in September 1981 for deposit with the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum.
