Physical DescriptionGold colored metal watch face attached to a red, white, and blue strap. Face depicts a caricature of President Gerald R. Ford. Hands of the watch are Ford's legs, one painted with the number "1776" and the other with "1976". Patriotic motifs accent several of the clock's numbers. Custodial History NoteThe general public gifted the item to President Ford during his term in office. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in September 1981 for deposit with the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum.
