Physical Description(a) A wooden plaque displays a coat of arms, which features four images: a plant, a body of water, two clasped hands, and a ship's wheel. A lion is lying across the top, and two sprigs of laurel leaves are beneath it. A silver plaque with black horizontal text is affixed to the center, and there is a silver image of a bell in the center of the bottom.

(b, c) A blue fabric-covered folder features a horizontal grey piece of paper that displays two thin horizontal orange bands and a red star outlined in white.
Historical NoteThe Government and citizens of Aruba fited this plaque to the United States in honor of the Bicentennial.Additional Details
Custodial History NoteA foreign official gifted the item to the government and people of the United States of Amnerica during the Ford Administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in 1981 for deposit with the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum.
