Physical Description(a) A gold pin of an abstract bird is attached to three dangling strands of white and black pearls, which are linked together with thin pieces of gold.(b) A small rectangular box covered in blue fabric is lined with silver fabric on the interior of the lid, and the bottom portion is cushioned with blue fabric.

Custodial History NoteA foreign official gifted the item to First Lady Betty Ford during the Ford Administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in 1981 for deposit with the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum.
