Physical Description(a) A gold coin features a raised image of a bearded man with raised curved text along the perimeter on the front. A raised image of a gazelle and raised curved text along the perimeter is on the back.

(b) A small red square box is lined with white fabric on the interior of the lid, and red fabric cushions the bottom portion.

Custodial History NoteA foreign official gifted the item to President Gerald R. Ford during his term in office. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in 1981 for deposit with the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum.
