Physical Description(a) Two three-dimensional golden bands decorate a red glass decanter's narrow neck. Golden Arabic text painted on the center is bordered by horizontal rows of white and golden scrollwork.

(b) A tall thin stopper made of red glass displays painted golden scrollwork on its round base.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a foreign official to President Gerald R. Ford during the Ford Administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in 1981 for deposit with the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum.
