Physical DescriptionThis white ceramic commemorative plate features green-printed pictures related to the American Revolution. The center displays the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Images from the left include: Minutemen, the Concord Bridge, the Liberty Bell, the Boston Tea Party, a British Regular, Independence Hall, Paul Revere's ride, and the Old North Church. The names of the 13 colonies encircle the plate's rim.

Custodial History NoteThe general public gifted the item to President Gerald R. Ford during his term in office. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in September 1981 for deposit with the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum.
