Golden links encircle the plate's rim.Historical NoteThe item was presented by a member of the general public as a gift for President Gerald R. Ford and First Lady Betty Ford. The item was received by H. Oldenburg on June 6, 1975. The item was then transferred to the White House Gift Unit on 6 10,1975. The plate commemorates the 25th Anniversary of Masonry in Germany.Additional Details
Custodial History NoteThe general public gifted the item to President Gerald R. Ford during his term in office. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in September 1981 for deposit with the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum.
