Physical DescriptionA hexagonal black tray has four red removable compartments, which surround a bowl in the center. The decorative lid features images inlaid with mother-of-pearl against a black background. A bird feeding its babies is in the center, and there are different symbols above, below, and to the left and right of it. A burgundy border surrounds the black background.

Custodial History NoteThe general public gifted the item to President Ford during his term in office. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in 1981 for deposit with the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum.
