Physical DescriptionA formal black-and-white photo of King Carl XVI Gustaf dressed in a black jacket while standing in front of a marbled background is matted in a white mat. It is framed in a blue frame with a gold crown in the center of the top edge. The photo is signed in white ink on the proper left bottom corner of the photo. A signature written in black ink is in the center of the bottom of the mat.

Custodial History NoteA foreign official gifted the item to President Gerald R. Ford during his term in office. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in September 1981 for deposit with the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum.
