Physical Description(a,b) A scroll features a bright colorful floral design in the top proper right corner. Rows of horizontal red text nearly fill the page. Three signatures in black ink are below the text. A red wax seal adhered to pieces of blue and yellow ribbon is positioned near the signatures.

Historical NoteMayor Carlo Delaini of Verona, Italy, gifted this scroll to President Gerald R. Ford in November 22, 1974. The State Department received the gift.Additional Details
Custodial History NoteA foreign official gifted the item to President Gerald R. Ford during his term in office. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in September 1981 for deposit with the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum.
