Physical DescriptionA square blue ashtray has a circular depression in the center and is decorated with a green bird enclosed in a circle on each corner and in the center.
Historical NoteHeung-Moon Koh, a Congressman of the Republic of Korea, gifted this ashtray to President Gerald R. Ford on November 25, 1974, to commemorate Ford's state visit to Korea. It is part of a set which also includes a cigarette urn (1987.104.1 a-b).Additional Details

Custodial History NoteA foreign official gifted the item to President Gerald R. Ford during his term in office. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in 1981 for deposit with the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum.
