Physical DescriptionA wooden three-panel screen features a horizontal image of two pairs of figures seated atop elephants, which wear ornate colorful fabrics and beaded headdresses. Groups of men wearing yellow robes are positioned behind, beside, and in front of the elephants. Some are holding spears and swords. Bright green trees decorate the background.

Custodial History NoteA foreign official gifted the item to President Gerald R. Ford during his term in office. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in 1981 for deposit with the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum.
