Physical DescriptionA square white stamp features a dark red image of the Lincoln Memorial. Two curvy vertical black lines are stamped on the right side of the image.Historical NoteThe donor mailed the stamp to Gerald R. Ford at his home in Rancho Mirage, California in 1982. In a letter to Ford, the donor specified the stamp was to be added to the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum’s collection. The stamp was issued in Washington, D.C., and Springfield, Illinois, on Lincoln’s birthday, February 12, 1923.Additional Details
