Historical NoteHeung-Moon Koh, a Congressman of the Republic of Korea, gifted this cigarette urn to President Gerald R. Ford on November 25, 1974, to commemorate Ford's state visit to Korea. It is part of a set which also includes an ashtray (1987.104.1 c).Additional Details
Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a foreign official to President Gerald R. Ford during the Ford Administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in 1981 for deposit with the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum.
