This is the first volume of a two volume set (1987.274.2) celebrating the 1963 quadracentennial of El Escorial, the historic residence of the Spanish monarchy and the location of the royal burial vaults.Additional Details
Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from a foreign official to President Ford and First Lady Betty Ford during the Ford Administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in September 1981 for deposit with the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum.
