Physical DescriptionA female doll dressed as a dancer wears an outfit made of green, white, and purple organza decorated with peacock feathers, gold sequins, and gold trim. She also wears a matching headdress. Her arms are outstretched, and her head is turned to the proper right. She is positioned on a square wooden base.
Historical NoteThe wife of Aang Kunaefi, governor of Bandung, Indonesia, gifted this Balinese doll to Susan Ford in December 1975.Additional Details
Custodial History NoteA foreign official gifted the item to Susan Ford during the Ford Administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in 1981 for deposit with the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum.
