Physical DescriptionA round wooden footstall designed to resemble a turtle is covered with patriotic red, white, and blue fabric. Dangling red, white, and blue pom-poms hang from red trim that is attached to the perimeter of the material. A piece of curved wood protrudes from the center, and a small silver disc is adhered to each side of it.Additional Details
Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from the general public to President Ford during his term in office. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in September, 1981 for deposit with the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum.
