Physical DescriptionRed and blue stripes intersect the top of a yellow leather helmet. Eight holes are evenly spaced on the top, and each ear pad has a hole. Two straps below the chin are fastened with a golden buckle.
Historical NoteGerald Ford wore this football helmet during the 1935 Chicago College All-Star Game. The All-Star game placed the top senior collegiate football players against the runner-up team in the NFL Championship for that year, the Chicago Bears. The Bears beat Ford's All-Stars team 5-0.Additional Details
