Historical NoteAir Force Staff Sergeant Martin Jablonski served as Flight Mechanic on “Jolly 42,” one of the helicopters involved in the rescue operation on Koh Tang Island following the capture of the SS Mayaguez. He received the Distinguish Flying Cross for “courageous action aided in the recovery of the SS Mayaguez and its crew.”Additional Details
