Physical DescriptionA bronze bird has detailed feathers, a long curved beak, and long toes. It stands with its feet spread apart.
Historical NotePrince Juan Carlos and Princess Sofía of Spain gifted a pair of woodcock sculptures to President and Mrs. Ford during their state visit to Spain in May 1975. The Fords displayed it in their residence in Rancho Mirage, California, until Betty Ford's death in 2011.Additional Details
