Physical DescriptionA postcard features an image of a navy blue train. Three thin red, white, and blue stripes are along the bottom edge of the side. Above them, there is a circle of white stars adjacent to a horizontal yellow diamond with three rows of horizontal text on it. On the front of the train below a square window, there is curvy text, an eagle motif, an American flag motif, and red, white, and blue numbers. The train is positioned at a slight angle on train tracks surrounded by gravel. Additional train tracks are in the foreground, and a blue sky with sparse white clouds is in the background.

Custodial History NoteThe general public gifted the item to President Gerald R. Ford during his term in office. It was received through the Executive Office of the President in 1976 and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in September 1981 for deposit with the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum.
