Physical DescriptionA postcard features an image of a white train accented with red and blue stripes, which are decorated with white stars. Horizontal lines of text and numbers are on various locations throughout it. An American flag protrudes from the top, and there is a motif of one on the side. The great seal is on the side and front of the train. It is positioned at a slight angle on train tracks surrounded by gravel and grass. Green trees against a blue sky with white clouds are in the background.

Custodial History NoteThe general public gifted the item to President Gerald R. Ford during his term in office. It was received through the Executive Office of the President in 1976 and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in September 1981 for deposit with the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum.
