Physical DescriptionA red floral motif decorates the bottom portion of a doll's white dress. She wears several red accessories: a sash, a necklace, and a head scarf. She holds a red, white, and blue embroidered purse in her proper right hand.
Historical NoteJoseph Saban, President of the Croatian Catholic Union of the United States, gifted this doll to First Lady Betty Ford on August 28, 1976. Mrs. Ford personally acknowledged receiving the gift on September 8, 1976.Additional Details
Custodial History NoteThe general public gifted the item to First Lady Betty Ford during the Ford administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President, and Betty Ford donated it to the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum in 2008.
