Physical DescriptionA doll is wearing a pink apron over a geometric. blue dress. A wide-brimmed straw hat is on top of her head, and a pink pearl earring decorates each ear. Her proper left hand holds the neck of a brown jar as her proper right hand supports it.
Historical NoteThe President of the Republic of the Philippines, Ferdinand Marcos, and his wife, First Lady Imelda Marcos, gave this doll to First Lady Betty Ford during her trip to the Philippines on December 6, 1975. Additional Details
Custodial History NoteA foreign official gifted the item to First Lady Betty Ford during the Ford administration, and she donated it to the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum in 2008.
