Physical DescriptionA hot pink felt elephant with purple ears displays an ornate blanket on its back; star-shaped sequins decorate a blue design that is bordered by yellow trim with tassels. A bronze-toned glass bead on each side of its head represents eyes. A loop made of silver twine is attached to the center of its back.

Custodial History NoteThe general public gifted the item to President Gerald R. Ford during his term in office. It was received through the Executive Office of the President. First Lady Betty Ford donated it to the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum in 2008.
