Physical Description(a) A round gold pocket watch features a silhouette of a diamond-encrusted eagle with outstretched wings. A row of blue stones is above it, and a circle of rubies encloses it. Curved text surrounds the outer perimeter of the circle.

(b,c) A small silver box with a wooden interior is lined with blue fabric.

Custodial History NoteThe general public gifted the item to President Gerald R. Ford during his term in office. First Lady Betty Ford donated it to the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum in September 2007.
