Physical DescriptionA floor-length dress made of shiny champagne-colored fabric displays a metallic floral print made of golden thread. A matching sash ties around the waist. Light brown fur cuffs decorate each long sleeve.Historical NoteBetty Ford wore this dress during her time as First Lady, including at a Congressional Ball at the White House on December 17, 1975; a state dinner for Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin and his wife, Leah Rabin, of Israel on January 27, 1976; a Congressional Ball at the White House on December 9, 1976; and a Cabinet Dinner on January 5, 1976.Additional Details
