The top portion is covered by a matching capelet.Historical NoteBetty Ford wore this dress during her time as First Lady to St. Vincents Hospital 75th Anniv. Gala, in Birmingham Alabama on September 7th, 1974; to the Mardi Gras Ball on Feburary 1st, 1974; and to the University of Miami "Founders" Dinner at Fountaineblau on Feburary 27th, 1976.Additional Details
