Physical DescriptionA green and pink gown features silver sequins arranged in a wavy design throughout the bodice and the upper portion of its sheer flowing sleeves. The design disperses into single sequins sparsely placed throughout the lower portion of the sleeves. A long train is attached to the back of the dress.


Historical NoteBetty Ford wore this dress during her time as first lady to the Washington Fashion Benefit Gala at the opening of Bloomingdales in Tysons Corner, Virginia on September 8, 1976. She also wore it after her time as first lady to a fundraising dinner event for Eisenhower Medical Center, on April 13, 1977.Additional Details
