Physical DescriptionA floor-length orange chiffon gown has a high neckline and long sleeves. Clusters of Iridescent sequins create a floral pattern throughout the fabric. Rows of silver sequins decorate the neckline, cuffs, and waistline.

Historical NoteBetty Ford wore this dress during her time as First Lady and after, including at a state dinner in Madrid, Spain on May 31, 1975; the American Film Institute dinner in Los Angeles, California, honoring film director William Wyler on March 9, 1975; and the Golden Slipper Club award dinner in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on April 26, 1976.Additional Details
