Physical DescriptionA floor-length orange chiffon gown has a high neckline and long sleeves. Clusters of Iridescent sequins create a floral pattern throughout the fabric. Rows of silver sequins decorate the neckline, cuffs, and waistline.Historical NoteBetty Ford wore this dress during her time as First Lady and after, including at a state dinner in Madrid, Spain on May 31, 1975; the American Film Institute dinner in Los Angeles, California, honoring film director William Wyler on March 9, 1975; and the Golden Slipper Club award dinner in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on April 26, 1976.Additional Details
