Physical Description(a,b) A golden metal pagoda sculpture is decorated with roosters, bells, and red tassels, which hang from each corner of the roof. It is supported by a black stand. (c) A small rectangular wooden sign displays vertical red and gold Japanese characters.

Custodial History NoteThe general public gifted the item to President Gerald R. Ford during his term in office. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives circa 1980s for deposit with the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum.
