Physical DescriptionA bronze stylized sculpture of an enthroned man playing a harp is attached to a platform, which is elevated by a lion under each of its corners. The proper right side of the base displays horizontal raised text.
Historical NoteIsraeli President Ephraim Katzir gifted this sculpture to President Ford on March 3, 1975, during Katzir’s first trip to the U.S. as President of Israel.Additional Details
Custodial History NoteA foreign official gifted the item to President Gerald R. Ford during his term in office. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in 1981 for deposit with the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum.
