Physical Description(a) A gilded coffee pot features an ornate spout designed to resemble the neck and head of a dragon. On the opposite side, it has a large, black handle. It is covered by a lid topped with a finial.(b) A gilded oblong tray has a protruding rim and a decorative handle on each side.
(c) A gilded creamer has a large black handle.
(d) A gilded sugar bowl has a decorative handle on each side. It is covered by a lid topped with a finial.
(e) A green presentation box made of malachite

Custodial History NoteA foreign official gifted the item to President Gerald R. Ford during his term in office. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in 1981 for deposit with the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum.
