Historical NoteKing Baudouin and Queen Fabiola of Belgium gifted these crystal glasses and decanter to President Ford during his state visit on March 28-29, 1975. The glasses and decanter were handmade in Belgium and engraved with the royal monogram.Additional Details
Custodial History NoteA foreign official gifted the item to President Gerald R. Ford during his term in office. It was presented to him and was maintained at the Executive Office of the President until its transfer to the National Archives in 1981 for deposit with the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum.
