Physical DescriptionA curved carved piece of ivory features clusters of linked figures in various positions along with animals and plants. It is supported by a square wooden base, which has a small rectangular silver plaque affixed to the front of it.Historical NoteGeneral Bumba Moaso Djogi, Captain General of the Armed Forces (F.A.Z.) of Zaire (now the Democratic Republic of Congo) gifted this carved tusk to Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld on June 17, 1976.Additional Details
