Physical DescriptionA square plastic case encloses seven silver, bronze, and gold commemorative medals. A slightly larger gold medal is positioned in the center of a circle formed by the others. Each one features a raised image of the shape of Indonesia on the front and a raised image of an eagle emblem on the back. There is a row of horizontal gold text along the top and bottom edge of a red piece of paper that is positioned behind the medals.
Historical NoteFirst Lady Tien Suharto of Indonesia gifted these medals to President Ford in December 1975.Additional Details

Custodial History NoteA foreign official gifted the item to President Gerald R. Ford during his term in office. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in 1981 for deposit with the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum.
