The artisan workshop of Carlo Scotti in Cantù, Italy, is the origin of the famed line of 'Pipa Castello', which began production around 1946, with ambitions to produce pipes that would rival classic English lines such as Dunhill and Sasieni in quality and design. their popularity and collector status peaked in the 1970's. The firm remains in the family and continues to produce pipes to this day
