The piece is supported by a rectangular black platform, which displays a golden plaque engraved with text.Historical NoteOn September 18, 1982 Joseph Chorlton, president of Cybis Studio, donated this bicentennial-themed carousel horse to the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum. President Ford gifted the artist's proof of this piece to Soviet President Leonid Brezhnev at the Helsinki Accords Conference in 1975.Additional Details
