Physical DescriptionA postcard features an image of white, red, and blue train. Along the side, on the white portion, there is an image of a banner outlined in red with a silhouette of a blue eagle in the center. On the blue portion below it, there is a line of horizontal white text. An alternating pattern of blue and red stars is below the text on a white stripe; it extends across the length of the vehicle. The train is positioned at a slight angle with a clear blue sky in the background.

Custodial History NoteThe general public gifted the item to President Gerald R. Ford during his term in office. It was received through the Executive Office of the President in 1976 and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in September 1981 for deposit with the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum.
