Physical DescriptionA postcard features an image of two bronze sculptures on a stone pedestal. One figure is dressed in 16th century clothing and stands with an outstretched arm on the very top of the pedestal. The other wears a flowing robe and is positioned in front of the second tier of the pedestal. She holds a sword in one hand and a flag in the other. An eagle sits close to her feet.Additional Details
Custodial History NoteThe general public gifted the item to President Gerald R. Ford during his term in office. It was received through the Executive Office of the President in 1976 and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in September 1981 for deposit with the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum.
