Physical DescriptionA white license plate features an image of a red sculpture on the proper left. A shield-shape designed to resemble the American flag is overlapping it. There is horizontal blue letters on the bottom beneath a red line.
Historical NoteThis license plate commemorates Grand Rapids, Michigan as the All-America City of 1980-1981. It features an image of “La Grande Vitesse,” a sculpture created by artist Alexander Calder, which is located on the plaza in front of Grand Rapids City Hall. The all-American City Award began in 1949, and Grand Rapids received the award in 1949, 1960, and 1980.Additional Details
