Physical DescriptionA postcard features an image of a young blond boy dressed as Uncle Sam. He holds an American flag and a lit sparkler in one hand and a pistol in the other. A small canon is in front of his proper right foot. Scattered exploding dynamites litter the ground. Rows of horizontal brown text are on either side of him.

Custodial History NoteThe general public gifted the item to President Gerald R. Ford during his term in office. It was received through the Executive Office of the President in 1976 and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in September 1981 for deposit with the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum.
